Think of it as a brilliant colleague who never sleeps, knows almost everything, and can help you build real software even if you've never coded before.
We already use it internally. This hackathon is your chance to explore what else it can do.
A version of Claude that runs in your terminal and can actually create and edit files on your computer.
One week. Your team. AI as your superpower.
Build anything that makes life better at work or at home.
Your team will be assigned. Mix of departments. Different perspectives make better ideas.
Your project must be created using Claude or Claude Code or claude cowork. That's the whole point.
5–10 minutes to show what you built. Tell us what it does, why you made it, and what was surprising.
Crowd vote on the day. Everyone in the room picks their favourite. The team with the most votes wins.
Something that makes your job easier a Hive add-on, a Digispace feature, an internal helper
Habit trackers, daily planners, goal-setters, anything that helps you perform better
A quiz game, a puzzle, something fun for the team creativity counts as much as code
Anything that doesn't fit the above. The stranger the better. Surprise us.
💬 Rule of thumb: If it would make you smile, save you time, or make you go "wow I didn't know AI could do that", it's a good project.
There'll be a dedicated Microsoft Teams channel throughout. Post questions, share progress, ask for help from Claude Beta Users
Free course available at anthropic.skilljar.com/claude-101 — great starting point if you're new to Claude.
There's no technical scoring sheet. The crowd votes on what they find most impressive, most useful, or most surprising. But here's what tends to win:
Something people recognise and go "yes, I've wanted that".
Show it working. Explain what it does in one sentence. Don't read slides.
Something that makes the audience realise AI can do more than they thought.
This is about learning what's possible. The process matters as much as the product.
Teams will be announced on 13 April. Once confirmed, this page will be updated with all team names and members.
🚀 These are just starting points. The best idea is probably one only you would think of. What's something that drives you mad at work? Build the fix.
The tools are ready. The support is here. All that's missing is you deciding to start.
